Projects:
Old
Jungle Saying
A bunch of experimental, wise, improbably funky, groovy love kamikazes,
Old Jungle Saying is based in one of the lazy layouts of the southern
city of Bangalore, India. Influenced by the likes of Primus, The
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Infectious Grooves and a whole
lot of other bands whose genealogy is hard to trace, Old Jungle
Saying serves up sumptuous slabs of psychedelic funk, held in place
by the riotous rhythm section of Sandeep Madhavan on bass and Greg
Hamra on drums. As they steer the mothership through the murky,
quirky guitars of Hemanth Nickle, the charismatic gurgling
of Aditya Menon can be heard calling the faithful from above the
rarified groove.

90's delivered to his doorstep by Mr. Biju of Celebrations Bar and

Profession: Linguist (a cunning one at that!)
Drinks: Bourbon and Dark Beer. (He's very thirsty
in Bangalore.)

and UFOs.

Herb, Jimmy Chamberlin, Mick Shrimpton, Animal
from The Muppets.
Greg joined the Bangalore music scene in late 2004 when he played
Bangalore Habba with Aatma. Since then he has played drums for various
bands including Old
Jungle Saying and the Barracuda
Blues Band. Aside from drumming, Greg is a trainer in the areas
of communications, computers and is a master of many tongues. Greg
plays TAMA drums, Zildjian cymbals and Vic Firth sticks.
Sujay Harthi (Vocals)
Sujay Harthi is known for his soaring, passionate voice, seen previously
on stage with old school metallers Bhoomi. A software professional
with one of Bangalore's better known companies, Sujay stalks the
stage, drawing new life from the crowd, and gives Aatma's funk a
jagged edge.
Influences: Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Judas
Priest, Dream Theater, Symphony X.
